We offer both Cylinder and Rotary mowing at Oasis Lawnscapes.
Cylinder mowing is like using scissors on your lawn. This is what they use on golf courses and sports fields like the MCG. This gives the highest of quality cuts on your lawn.
Turf Installation
We install turf year round. Yes that means winter too!
We don't just throw it on and go, we tailor your turf installation. Soil testing and amendments, selecting the correct turf for your needs and conditions and setting the correct fertiliser and watering programs are all a part of the process.
Lawn Renovation
Lawn renovations are essential for a healthy, fantastic looking lawn. The process includes:
Scalping the lawn down to basically dirt
Dethatching which is removing the excess organic matter built up under the grass
Core aeration which allows air and water to reach the roots of the lawn
Topdressing the lawn which is done to level the surface, improve the soil and used as a bed for grass seed
Fertilising and watering
Fertiliser Programs
We use ICL products to design a fertiliser program to suit your grass type and soil.
ICL products are the highest quality fertilisers that last longer. This means we only apply the fertiliser twice a year instead of 6 times saving you money.
Grass Seeding
Ballarat is a cold place, we all know that. This means it can be the ideal climate for cool season grass like Ryegrass, Kentucky Bluegrass and Fescues.
All of the above grow from seed. As seen on our Instagram page, Oasis Lawnscapes owner Taine loves his Ryegrass front lawn (and those stripes!).
